TERMINATION OF PARENTAL RIGHTS ATTORNEY IN HENDERSON, NEVADA
A Court can terminate the rights of a parent if the Court finds that such a termination would serve the best interest of the child. Best interest can include neglect of the child, unfitness of the parent, risk of serious physical, mental, or emotional injury to the child, or abandonment. If parental rights are terminated, the order cuts off all aspects of the parent/child relationship; both rights and any responsibilities, such as child support. While a parent can choose to relinquish parent rights, a parent cannot voluntarily terminate rights and obligations unless a court deems it to be in the child’s best interests.
